AgriScience is a 3 Carnegie unit program. This curriculum has been developed by teachers for teachers and is aligned to the Arizona state technical standards. Lessons are of high quality and consistent across all program areas. As Consortium members, teachers are encouraged to adjust and edit/remix them to make lessons “their own”.

Hello AgriScience Group Members,

We are thrilled to report that 16 lessons covering Unit 10 Introduction to Animal Science and Unit 11 Food Science have been uploaded to the CTE Curriculum Connection.

In these units, students learn:

Age & Gender terms
Identification Methods & Classification
Dehorning, Castration and Docking
Animal Welfare and Behavior
Government Food Agencies
Food Processing and Labels
Preventing Foodborne Illness

Each lesson and project is available for you to access now via the Group Resources Folders for AgriScience HERE. Select the VETTED - AgriScience Curriculum Year 1 folder to open and view the lessons.
