Hello Business Management Group Members! 

We are happy to report that 26 lessons (including two projects) for Year 2 Unit 3 General Management and Year 2 Unit 7 Human Resources Management covering 7 weeks of instruction total have been published to the CTE Curriculum Connection and are available for you to download, remix, and use.

In these units, students will use current events and web search skills to analyze a
business in their community. They will organize and summarize their results using various applications.

Additionally, they will be able to explain human resource functions to include factors that affect:

• Overtime
• Job descriptions and profiles
• Mediums that identify candidates
• The hiring process
• New employee orientation
• Workplace culture
• Monitoring and evaluation of employees
• Disciplinary and dismissal procedures
