Business Operations is a 2 Carnegie unit program. This curriculum has been developed by teachers for teachers and is aligned to the Arizona state technical standards. Lessons are of high quality and consistent across all program areas. As Consortium members, teachers are encouraged to adjust and edit/remix them to make lessons “their own”.

Greetings Business Operations Group Members,

We are happy to report that new units covering 25 instructional days have been published and are available for download, remix, and use.

Year 1 Unit 2 Ethical Practices covers 5 days of instruction. Students will explore:

Office behavior and expectations, workplace policies and procedures, and organizational resources.
Workplace Safety
Fair Use
Copyright Law

Y1 Unit 5 Introduction to Presentations is a project-based unit that covers 20 days of instruction. Students:

Apply correct ergonomic positioning.
Use word processing to create documents.
Format documents using a variety of techniques and tools.
Design a cover letter.
Model complex communication skills.
Complete a practice certification exam.
Demonstrate keyboard speed and proficiency.
