New Unit of Study Published

Hello Cabinetmaking Group Members,

We are happy to report that a new Industrial Technologies unit of study has been published to the CTE Curriculum Connection and the 18 lessons included are available for you to download, remix, and use.

The lessons in this unit are aligned to ADE CTE Technical Standards for multiple program areas, including Cabinetmaking, and cover topics such as:

  • Tape Measures and Rulers
  • Lab Safety and PPE
  • SDS
  • Fire Extinguishers
  • Electrical Hazards
  • Ladder Safety
  • Lifting and Body Mechanics
  • Fall Protection and Prevention
  • Emergency procedures
  • Hammers and Pry Tools
  • Screwdrivers Wrenches and Hand Saws
  • Hand Power and Stationary Saws
  • Drills

You may now access the unit now via the Cabinetmaking Program Group Resources Page by clicking HERE, selecting the Curriculum folder on the left side of the page,  and looking in the Vetted Year 1 folder.
