Education Professions is a 2 Carnegie unit program. This curriculum has been developed by teachers for teachers and is aligned to the Arizona state technical standards. Lessons are of high quality and consistent across all program areas. As Consortium members, teachers are encouraged to adjust and edit/remix them to make lessons “their own”.

Hello Education Professions Group Members!

We are happy to report that 24 days of instruction for Year 1 Unit 5 Stages of Growth and Development and Unit 6 Exceptional Learners have been published to the CTE Curriculum Connection and are available for download, remix, and use.

Principles of Growth and Development: In this unit, students explore:

Stages of physical development
Stages of cognitive development
Stages of social and emotional development
Stages of moral development

Exceptional Learners: In this units, students explore:

History of Special Education Topics
Identification of an exceptional child
IEPs and 504s
Accommodations and Modifications
