Emergency Medical Services

Emergency Medical Services is a 2 Carnegie unit program. This curriculum has been developed by teachers for teachers and is aligned to the Arizona state technical standards. Lessons are of high quality and consistent across all program areas. As Consortium members, teachers are encouraged to adjust and edit/remix them to make lessons “their own”.

Hello Emergency Medical Services Program Group Members,

My name is Jessica Discua, a senior lead instructor for the EMT program at Gateway Community College, stationed at Estrella Mountain Community College in Avondale.

I have organized a Fire/EMS Career and Education Fair on January 26, 2024, from 4-8 pm. The event is open to everyone, including current, potential, and alumni students, as well as the general public.

We'll have over 20 organizations present, including fire departments, ambulance services, the Phoenix 911 center, hospitals, and various employers.
