Heavy Equipment Operations is a 2 Carnegie unit program. This curriculum has been developed by teachers for teachers and is aligned to the Arizona state technical standards. Lessons are of high quality and consistent across all program areas. As Consortium members, teachers are encouraged to adjust and edit/remix them to make lessons “their own”.

ADE CTE Technical Skills Assessment Institute Invitation

Dear Heavy Equipment Operations Teachers,

You are invited to apply for a CTE Technical Skills Assessment Teacher Institute to review, update, and develop assessment items with other teachers in your program. Each committee will include teachers new to the assessment process, those who have experienced the assessment work previously, and as well, we encourage
geographic diversity.

The Institute will be held Saturday, March 9th at West-MEC Glendale START Building. The day begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes by 4:30 p.m. Teachers who complete the full day will receive a stipend of $250 and earn 8 hours of Professional Development Credit. Lunch is On Your Own.
