Law and Public Safety is a 2 Carnegie unit program. This curriculum has been developed by teachers for teachers and is aligned to the Arizona state technical standards. Lessons are of high quality and consistent across all program areas. As Consortium members, teachers are encouraged to adjust and edit/remix them to make lessons “their own”.

Hello Law and Public Safety Group Members!

We are happy to report that: Year 1 Unit 15 Specialized Units - State and Local and Unit 16 Specialized Units - Federal have been uploaded to the CTE Curriculum Connection.

In Unit 15 students are exposed to a variety of state and local units including:

K9
SWAT
Game and Fish
Learning how to properly clear structures
Learning how to identify potential Hostage and Terrorist Situations

Unit 16 is a nine-day project where students research, draft a report, and create a presentation about a specialized Federal Unit.

The publication of this unit completes the Year One curriculum for Law and Public Safety based on the Scope & Sequence and Task Analysis.
