Law and Public Safety is a 2 Carnegie unit program. This curriculum has been developed by teachers for teachers and is aligned to the Arizona state technical standards. Lessons are of high quality and consistent across all program areas. As Consortium members, teachers are encouraged to adjust and edit/remix them to make lessons “their own”.

Greetings Law and Public Safety Instructors! I hope your year is off to a good start.

I'm Debbie, one of the curriculum writers for the Connection, currently working on Year 2 of your program. Since this stage of the program calls for more hands-on activities and labs, I'm reaching out to see if any of you have good ideas for scenarios that you use and are willing to share. I want to provide the best opportunities for students to practice the concepts they are learning from you, and help create relevant lessons for all.

I'm currently seeking anything related to:

Advanced Patrol Procedures related to ARS, Culpable Mental States, Elements of a Crime, Offense Types, Traffic stops, Foot pursuit

Advanced Investigative Procedures related to Crime Scene Analysis and Report Writing

First Aid Scenarios.
