Law and Public Safety is a 2 Carnegie unit program. This curriculum has been developed by teachers for teachers and is aligned to the Arizona state technical standards. Lessons are of high quality and consistent across all program areas. As Consortium members, teachers are encouraged to adjust and edit/remix them to make lessons “their own”.

Hello Law & Public Safety Group Members!

We are happy to report two thematic units covering a total of 41 days for

Year 2 Unit 3 Advanced Patrol Procedures and
Year 2 Unit 4 Advanced Investigative Procedures

have been added to the CTE Curriculum Connection. They are available for you to download, remix, and use today.

In these units, students will:

Review patrol procedures introduced in Y1 and learn additional concepts such as map reading. The use of many practical scenarios and role-playing reinforces previous and new learning.
Go in-depth into Crime Scene Management and Crime Scene Investigation, required documentation, chain of custody, and culminating in Practical Exercises and proper documentation of an investigation.
