October is Manufacturing Month! Join Superintendent Steve Watson and Intel Corporation for professional development for teachers. Superintendent Steve Watson and Intel Corporation offer teachers a virtual professional development program with technology professionals. We'll meet for two half-day sessions on October 8 & 9 from 9:00 am to noon. Attendees are encouraged to attend both days.

The ICI recognizes the need to provide mentorship to future generations of industry workforce and leaders. Mentorship Week has been established as a first formal step towards developing an ongoing relationship with today's students ranging in age from high school upper classmen through college seniors. This event is free to industry manufacturers, trade associations, universities, and students. It will be conducted on the ICI's Networking and Event Platform, affording students the opportunity to learn about the casting industry 24 hours per day during the week. Thursday, September 16, 2021 is Industry Day. On Industry Day, exhibiting manufacturers, trade associations and universities are asked to staff their booths from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EDT to answer student questions. The Investment Casting Institute is a 501(c)(6) non-profit manufacturer’s trade association, whose primary mission is to promote the investment casting process and members, as well as collecting and disseminating information about the industry and providing education opportunities to members.
