October is Manufacturing month with 1 virtual and other in-person tours

ADE CTE would like to invite your schools to attend any of the following career exploration activities.
AZ Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP - https://www.azcommerce.com/programs/arizona-mep/) want schools to know who they are!
This is a great opportunity for students to learn how it’s made and to explore the high-paying opportunities that manufacturing has to offer!
In the Phoenix metro area, manufacturing industries will kick off with a 30-minute virtual call for schools to meet the experts then the 3rd week of October Manufacturing will offer in-person tours.
Phoenix Meet AZ Manufacturer’s Virtually is sponsored by the SciTech Institute.
When: Thursday, October 6th 8:30a-12:00p

Phoenix Metro In-person Manufacturing Tours
When: Thursday, October 27 and Friday, October 28
In-person tours are designed to expose students to the types of manufacturing/business processes. Clothes-toed shoes and please, for the safety of the students, no tank tops or shorts. Parents are welcome to attend.

Tucson Metro Manufacturing Tours
When: Friday, October 7th
In-person tours are scheduled and sponsored by Southern Arizona Manufacturing Partners (SAMP - http://www.sazmp.com/). Bus Pickup from School, rotate between participating manufacturers and end at Pima Community College for an event.
