About me

I am thrilled and deeply honored to serve as the Arizona Department of Education’s CTE Program Specialist for Communication Media Technology. It’s a privilege to collaborate with all of you in preparing our students for high-demand, high-skill, and high-wage careers that shape the future workforce.

Most recently, I served as an Adjunct Professor for Grand Canyon University’s College of Arts and Media and as an Adjunct Instructor for Scottsdale Community College’s Visual Communication program. In these roles, I provided dynamic, industry-focused instruction in design thinking, graphic design, marketing, and advertising, ensuring students gained the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in creative industries.

My roots in CTE run deep. Previously, I served as a CTE Program Specialist for the Arizona Department of Education and dedicated many years as a CTE Communication Media Technology teacher at Valley Vista High School in Surprise, Arizona. During that time, I taught courses in graphic design, yearbook, digital photography, and film and TV production, fostering creativity, technical expertise, and career readiness in my students.

My goal in this role is clear: to empower and support Arizona’s CTE – Communication Media Technology educators, students, and stakeholders, including CTSO advisors and CTE administrators. Together, we will build meaningful opportunities and create lasting impacts, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and relevant educational experiences for all.
