Arizona Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a Career and Technical Student Organization that functions as an integral part of the Family and Consumer Sciences education curriculum and operates within the school system. Since 1946, Arizona FCCLA members have been making a difference in families, careers, and communities by addressing important personal, work, and societal issues.
Through participation in competitive events, becoming involved in community service opportunities, student leadership, and attending conferences, members develop real-world skills, explore Career Pathways, and become college and career ready.

Human Services
Do you like to help people? Would you enjoy teaching people how to improve their lives? This industry includes careers that involve tending to families and to human needs. Careers in the human services industry involve helping people with a variety of needs, such as counseling and fitness training. Occupations in the human services industry typically require many different levels of education and training, with specific designations ranging from less than a high school diploma and short-term on-the-job training for occupations such as laundry and dry-cleaning workers to a doctoral or professional degree and an internship or residency for clinical, counseling, and school psychologists.
